January. A month of Selfies and other resolutions that may or may not have been successful.

January... In review.

2014 is turning out to be a good year so far.   Going through my resolutions.. I realize that I haven't failed at them completely.  I have actually been fairly successful with a couple of them.  so here goes.

I have been away from home a lot, so household organization has been put slightly on hold.  However.. I have put up a to do list so that way I can keep track of what needs to get done when I actually do see my house...  Ultimately  I have been productive and have been living the way I want to live.  Currently  I am taking a break from doing chores on my list so I can write this, and catch my breath because Clorox is some strong smelling stuff.

January was  apparently is a month of Zen for me.  I rarely found an opportunity to show disdain in January.  So the term Bugger was rarely used... However. I did slip up a couple of times and said "Bite Me".  OLD HABITS DIE HARD!

365 days of the Selfie is going magnificently.  I am into February and have only been late on posting a selfie to Facebook a couple of times.  They got posted!!! thats what matters.. Not the fact that they were late!. but I digress.  After a month of posting pics of myself, I have realized several things about myself.
*1* I am a happy person.  (Yeah I kinda already knew that).
*2* I am a goof ball (yeah, yeah, yeah, I knew that too.)
*3* I have a very nice array of winter hats. (kinda forgot that one)
*4* I haven't posted a single pic of myself while I was wearing make up. I don't wear it so why should I put in special effort to take a pic for the sake of my own amusement.  Nah... Not worth my time.  On a side note, I am in DIRE need of getting my eyebrows done.
*5* I need to get more creative with this If I am going to continue this for 11 more months!
I discussed the 5th thing on this list last night with a dear friend of mine, and master of the Selfie.  I shall dub her "The Mistress of the Selfie" to protect her identity.  She had posted a selfie that was hillarious and it inspired me to do a close up selfie..  So I messaged her for advice on how to spice up a year of selfies.  She gave me some great inspiration.

The 52 week money challenge is going splendidly.  My little savings account grows.  And it shall continue to grow.  I am inspired to save more and deposit more as the balance grows.  I actually went through and recalculated the money challenge at $5 a week, and if I pinch just a little bit more.  I think it is feasible.

I think it is obviously apparent that I have not 100% fully kept up with my last resolution.  Blogging.  This is the first blog I have written in several weeks/ almost a month.  I have to do better.  But then again.. No body wants to read my thoughts on a daily basis.  I may have to go back to the drawing board  and rethink how often I actually post a blog.

And now... A month in review of my Selfies!

Have fun y'all, and hopefully you have as much fun as I am.
